JU students may receive help in financing their education from a number of different 来源. 的 University offers generous institutional scholarships and grants that are awarded on the basis of academic ability, talent and/or financial need. 学生 may also receive financial assistance from federal and state financial aid programs.

We recommend that students complete the FAFSA between October 1 and March 15 for the academic year that will begin the following August. Any student who applies for admission to Jacksonville University may request financial assistance, although all new students must complete the admissions process and be accepted before financial aid awards will be confirmed. Returning students are required to maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined in the University Catalog.

Applicants are urged to submit their applications between January 1 and March 15 to be considered for aid for the fall and spring semesters. Applications received after March 15 will be processed on a "funds available" basis. Summer sessions are considered separately (see below).

Summer 金融援助
Summer financial aid is calculated differently from the rest of the school year. 通常情况下, federal, state or institutional funding is not available for summer school. 就 as you know which classes you plan to take, contact the 金融援助 Office. 的 number of classes you take and the summer sessions you plan to attend will determine your loan eligibility. Your counselor will determine whether you have Federal Direct Loan eligibility remaining for the summer.
